We were lucky enough to be staying in the Old Town and we loved this atmospheric area with its beautiful buildings and lovely river walks. It is a lovely city and the Old Town delightful for wandering about looking at the buildings and dodging the bikes!

If you can, rent a bike and just roll around the old town. All the bridges are beautiful and all the shops are wonderful. Don't forget to get a bottle of salt for a souvenir - the shops sell them in beautiful glass bottles with corks in the top. Lots of cute outdoor cafes that are perfect for people watching....

With my housband, we just walked in the streets, we sat down in a little restaurant called Marley and Me, we had great dinner, and the river Liubljanica makes city center magnificent...

If the answer is no, then start packing! One of the pretiests towns in the Balcans. Clean with nice walks and views! I really loved the visit at, and regret that I did not had more time to spend at this lovely town What I saw was a small town with nice clean attractions that worths visiting!

Ljubljana’s old town packs a whole load of treats into a very manageable size. The old town features a fabulous open market, endless shops and countless photo ops.

Ljubljana is such a very beautiful city. You can explore the old town easily by walking as the whole place would take less than half a day. The old town is cosy with a lot of nice restaurants,bars and cafes. Price level is not as high as I tought. Easy to spend couple of days there.
