This small baroque church has an interesting painting of Christ's circumcision (not often depicted in Christian art) and a "wishing bell" with an interesting story. Ring the bell!

Churches are odd places to review, especially as a non church-goer myself. Reasonably unassuming on the outside, inside the walls and ceiling are covered with rich and intricate paintings. Well worth a visit but can feel a little intimidating.

The church is situation on an island in Lake Bled. The church is reached by hiring a pletna boat. The hire allows around half an hour to visit the church. The boat can be hired from the Lake Bled shoreline close to the church - it does not take long to row across. The church is gothic with an impressive...
