Saw Eugene O'Negin here. Beats anything I have seen in terms of staging anywhere in the world, except perhaps at the Santa Fe Opera. The staging was so terrific that it put that of the famed Sydney opera to shame.

This Puccini opera depends, as so many operas do, on its leading lady. Here Turandot was utterly believable. She really did look like a marriageable princess, unlike in some productions looking like the aging captain of the ladies rugby squad!
