Some lovely architecture and historical details amongst beautifully planted gardens. Lovely views all around. At certain times it can be a little hectic with large school parties.

Another huge cathedral in Poland. Ensure you buy a camera pass or the ushers will drill you. Not me, I saw others get stern talkings to.
A great place to visit. But it could take you a least a day to visit every thing. Wawel Castle is a symbol of Poland's past greatness. The palace and nearby cathedral were the home and resting place of Polish Kings. Thus, Wawel is a must see attraction.
A lovely place so full of history and the guides a so proud of their country and rightly so you can stop or start at your own pace quite a climb but worth it for the views alone

Like living a fairy tale! We did the state rooms, private rooms, treasury, tower and the dragon's den! My favourite was the dragon's den! Mythical!
what is there to dislike a magical place, a bit of a walk uphill if you have trouble walking but a must see, the views are amazing from the top
Intending to just wander the site and take in the view we noticed that the ticket office still had over 50 free tickets to give away for the treasury/armoury and Lost Wawel so we took 2 of them. We viewed the cathedral whist waiting for our timed entry to the treasury. It was very crowded with tour groups and bored...

We took the audio tour in English. It is a great place to see on the weekend when there is no school groups. It is horrible on the weekdays which is when we went there was 100's of kids everywhere and it took forever to see anything. We had to keep pausing our audio tour. Do yourself a favour and...
