I travelled by car to Poland, driving many miles across her land to see such sights.
often I was exasperated to find them shut without warning, and this is something that the authorities really do need to look at.
I took some nice pics of the outside of the fort and wandered in, managing afew more shots before being thrown...

A magnificant concept which served its time well in days gone bye. Would have been near impossible to conquer when first constructed

Awesome fortress. You can (I personally would say that you must) see it when going on a boat along the Gdansk port. The price for the boat is 5 Euro both sides. It used to protect the city and was checking all the boats going inside of the port. Simply magnificent…
