We went up early evening and worked up a thirst as it was a lovely warm evening and the climb was steep. We weren't disappointed as the beer was excellent. We tried the IPA, Amber and Wheat beer. My favourite was the IPA. The service was good and the food looked very appetising. On hindsight we should have eaten here... More

It may have been a bad choice on my part, but the cheese with toast was very poor - both in taste, quantity, and value for money. The location was nice though. More

There are four beers in this micro brewery's range, Pils, IPA, Dark and Wheat. All very tasty and full of character. The brewery has a bar that offers good value meals that are worth a go and reasonably priced. Some monks were enjoying a bevvy on a Sunday morning as well! More

We enjoyed our visit to this brewery. Be careful, because there are a couple other restaurants/bars nearby that do not serve the Strahov beer. We ate here, too, and found the food to be good, though not great. Come for the beer and a snack. More

Go there for the beer !! and just the beer...:) I visited the place with my colleagues for the lunch.. But we were much happier with the drinks rather than food... This is not the best option as a restaurant but a good place for beer tasting.. More

i was not impressed by the outdoor seating at all, but the beer was excellent! you can have a tasting set of 4 small glasses of each of their beers (the sampling option is not on the menu, ask for it), and they all are really fresh, tasty, great as they should be from a monastery brewery. some people were... Stopped here for a sampling of their beer, very good..... a little pricier than other establishments, worth the effort to check it out, and than to see the view from there ridge. More

Visited in January with my wife and found this place whilst wandering round and so pleased we did. Beer excellent and the food very good and very reasonably priced. Able to eat inside or out but was to cold for outside when we were there. Seemed to very popular with locals and tourists alike and we could definitely see why.... More
