The displays of cars, trains, planes and motorbikes in the main hall is quite impressive and in fairness quite reasonably priced tickets like alot of things in Prague. The only down side was, as per previous posts, you have to pay extra (over half the ticket price again) to be allowed to take photos. There are wardens watching your every... More

£5.90 (170CZK converted by my currency rate of 29CZK to £1) is a very good price to enjoy walking through the various pieces of engineering from planes to automobiles in the main hall. Then you can walk (or lift) up to the other three halls, firstly there is printing which has various print machines used in the past to create... More

I really enjoyed my visit to this museum. The main hall with various vehicles including railway engines and old fire-engines is well laid out with explanations in English. You then proceed up stairs to galleries with motorbikes and bicycles. Above are suspended aeroplanes etc. There is a wheelchair lift to the main hall, but the galleries are only accessible by... For Easter holiday we went with our two teenage children for four days to Prague. My wife and daughter went shopping on one of the (rainy) afternoons and my 13-year old son and me took the tram to this museum.Being a museum professional myself, I was very impressed with the variety of the collections and the level of exhibiting. Even... More

This is a place to go, if you want to feel the old times and if you love technology at the same time. The most interesting part for us was about transportation. You can find old cars, airplanes, bicycles and even trains there. Family ticket (2 adults+ kids) costs 370 CZK shich is quite reasonable. Single adult ticket is 170... More

After the full reconstruction finished just 1 year ago, this is the best opportunity for your restless kids to calm down, as there are so many subjects of interest, that they will just say "Wow"...Where is it located? On Letna, close to Metronom. More

Even my girlfriend who is otherwise not much into cars, motorcycles or trains loved this place. It's all nicely laid out and with good descriptions in Cezch and English. You will have a big smile on your face when you stroll back to the city centre... More

Had been trying to get to this museum for over 2 years, it was undergoing a make over which ran over by about 1 year. A nice walk through the park to what i class as the north of the city, walk up the stair at the metronome and at the top turn left and walk for short distance, you... More

One of the most interesting museums I've visited. We walked all the way up the hill from Old Town and it was worth it. We had such great fun there. There's plenty to see and do. More
