It was near all of the attractions, but quieter and away from the Old Town Square which is very touristy and noisy.

no surprise we had to carry by hand our e-bykes , nowaday all famous places are expected to be overcrowded : but it was worthwhile. I most appreciate the attitude of local people to valorize their inheritage and how civilized they are towards foreigners.

The old town square is a winding walk across cobblestone streets from the entry gate. This is a large open area from which you can access either the Charles Bridge or the Jewish Quarter. Around the area are lots of really nice restaurants from the expensive to café style and most boast open air seating. This is also the place... More

Sitting in the middle of Stare Mesto is the most ideal way to enjoy the great architecture and history of the city of Prague. If you can ignore the crowds, the really bad street performers, and unsavory types (drunken revelers and assorted scammers), you can absorb all the ornate decoration and imagine the centuries of history that took place on... this is a very pretty bit of prague has a lot of cafes and bars in this area but this also means it attracts lots of groups ie stag parties. Can be quite expensive in this area but nice to chill with a drink and watch the world go by whilst surrounded by beautiful buildings.

Few cities can brag night and day walks which are equally breathtaking. Too many tourists for my taste but the city is safe laid back and full of life. A real stand out.
