As with the rest of inner Prague, interesting and well preserved architecture, much more residential. More green areas/parks than across the river, also a modern art museum with interesting collections.

Loved wandering through this area. We spent many afternoons there and had amazing food and drinks in the sidewalk cafes!

Again, lots of interesting history and buildings. Arrange a tour guide to give you the story behind the story.

Excellent part of Prague to stay in, just steps away from Charles Bridge. Quieter than the Old town, but with just as much atmosphere and character. Within easy walking distance of all the major tourist sites and the Castle District. Good shops and restaurants. We loved staying here!

At the end of Charles bridge in Prague you find the beautiful Mala Strana. It is an unbelievable place: you are very close to the centre and at the same time it seems an old town from the past. Silent, quiet, giving the sensation to be in another century!

As I walked this part of town I could imagine the Prague of that time

See St. Nicholas Cathedral, US Embassy, Vrbta gardens, Churches, John Lennon Peace Wall, Kampa Park. Beautiful, reminds me of some places in Paris. Check out the craft beer store on Lazenska - many hard-to-get beers and glasses for sale. My favorite place to buy beer for the hotel room.

Really nice area to stay because it's a lot quieter and a short walk from Old Town.
