We were there a couple of weeks prior to the bullfighting season, so perhaps the bull ring is not quite as available to explore in season. But we were allowed to wander around completely. There are no plaza de toros were we come from, so we really wanted to experience this one. Ronda has so many beautiful and unique places. The gift shop and the museum are really nice.

If you only visit one Plaza de Toros then this is the one to do. Very interesting guide at the museum who explains the details of the suits of lights and various rules and etiquette of the ring. What ever you think of bull fighting its an interesting experience.

Liked the displays and art. Everything was written in both English and Spanish.
The pens, gates, corrals are open for viewing. Recommended for everyone except animal rights activists.

We really enjoyed our visit to the oldest wooden bull ring in Spain...full of history, and you can feel the spirits there. Well worth the time, and the onsite museum is interesting.
