We paid 8 Euro to be taken around town in a mini tractor/train to pick up all the tourists. You get to hear a taped history of the town. (This building got glass elevators in 1999 etc...stupid, who cares!!) Then they take you to the Jagdschloss and right when you get there they tell you about the restaurant. The trick...

What we liked most was the view from the top but there are a lot of steps one must first climb. Don't forget to bring your camera to take a picture of the Ostsee
convenient by train, good walking distance back to Binz or to Selling, nature pure, also good by bicycle- perfect view in all directions,having lunch time , nice exhibitions
Nice stairs and view from the top, but small castle though. Surroundings is very nice for walking and biking.
Well, 3 EUR as entrance fee isn´t much, BUT: you have no guide, you´re just following the route and go thru interiors. Everything looks quite new, the renovation seems to be so perfect that you do not feel the "old castles smell" - which is bad. There are no interiors as you´re used to see from other castles. no furniture...
