We thought the tramway would be a lazy way to learn something about the forest and town. Jason had some interesting information, but his endless, repetitive jokes about rules, safety (or lack thereof) and leaving people behind was irritating. Some of the older patrons seemed amused - or perhaps were playing along. There are some fabulous tourism options in Pemberton....

Great day you really get into the Karri forest the tram gives you a great view and the history and places of interest you are told about are really interesting

It's quite a long trip and younger kids can get bored as the talk is mainly about the history of Pemberton and the logging industry there. Very informative, but not the "tram ride" we were expecting for the kids.

Good value for money and beautiful scenery, it's such a shame you have to listen to the tram driver the whole way kind of ruins the joy of being in the forest. Also pre book your tickets as there is't many seats

This beautiful historical tram ride was such a beautiful experience. We felt as though we were there when Pemberton first originated.

This was a good activity for young children - especially little boys who love trains like mine does. Just under 2 hours was perfect timing to hold their interest and get to see some of the forest. I must admit though I found the driver/commentary a little tiresome. A bit too much irrelvant chat for me!!
