This place was good to visit although a little graphic in some respects for small children. More

We thought their entry price was high floor what they were offering. Also my husband complained that their restaurant prices were on the expensive side. We enjoyed the drive and nearby Frenchmans Bay. Take a picnic lunch there is probably better value for money. More

We took our three young daughters to Whale World in April and we all really enjoyed the experience. There was lots and lots to see, excellent displays and a playground to keep everyone happy. The tour we did was informative and we all especially enjoyed the innovative videos that were screened in the old whale oil storage tanks. The whole... More

Whale world has lots of very interesting facts about whaling in Australia, and has many things to do inside. They has an old whaling ship parked that you can tour, and they also have a guided tour as well. A little pricey but worth seeing when in Albany. More

We spent 3 and a half hours at this wonderful tourist attraction. The guide who showed us around was very informative and friendly. Recommended. More

Wonderful insight into the old whaling industry. Thank goodness it has stopped now but this place is so interesting. Allow heaps of time as there is much to see. Cafe for a coffee when you have finished. More

If u can get past the high entry fee you will be pleasantly surprised at how much this place has to offer. Being the last whaling station in Australia to view I believe it is a must see. Allow 2-3 hours. Our family learnt so much about old whaling in albany and the exhibits were outstanding. The huge Cheynes Whaling... More

The lack of information provided at the start was annoying, but I learnt alot during my exploration. It was interesting to see how the station use to operate and everything that made it tick. A shame that it cost $29 to get in. More

If you're in or around Albany Whale World is worth a visit. At $29 entry was a bit steep but it does give you access to a Nature Park as well where you can see little animals which is good for kids (and big kids who like cute furry things). It was peeing down with rain when we visited but... More
