The place was good and there were people on site to answer questions, but the Koalas weren't in any mood to show off. Wrong tome of day I guess. Their info centre had lots to take in about the Koalas and the area, but I wanted more. Still I hope they keep up the good work.

I am glad I did not pay top $$ I think we saw 4 Koalas on the day we were there, not sure where they all were. I expected to see a lot more than that, maybe my expectations were too high.

Saw quite a few koalas and managed to get quite close for some time to one in particular as . Great shop and small cafe attached. Very informative and plenty of room for the kids to wander (slithering wildlife dependant!)

Koala Conservation Center is a good place to watch Koala in their natural habitat but if you want to get close to them or feed them, then probably this is not the place for you. Its a very small center with a limited boardwalk. There is nothing much here to spend a long time here and you can go for... More

Very nice, peaceful park with several koalas to see up close in their natural habitat. So very cute. We saw a kookaburra as well.

Visitor centre very interactive, great for kids of all ages. Then out on the koala boardwals the first time around only saw one koala as i was not looking high enough and chasing a 4 year old.Second time around the boardwalk saw about 6. lucky they are not dangerous. The other boardwalk saw a lot more and they were closer.... More

After traveling around SA and WA - and spotting Koalas in the wild for free - and going to Paul's Place on Kangaroo Island and actually cuddling and holding a koala - this was okay. I did really like how rangers move signs around to point out koalas. The Centre said they had about 25 koalas - we were able... More

Koalas abound in their natural habitat. You will not get to encounter them, but there are plenty of picture opportunities. Rangers move signs to help you locate them on our boardwalk outing. There is also a trail through the bush where you can see other critters such as swamp wallabies and various birds.

We visited as part of the 3-attraction pass and spent around 45-minutes here. The set up is a cafe/gift shop through which you enter, then there is a hall with some basic facts about koalas and local wildlife and then you go out the back and do a walk through - either a loop bush walk and/or two fenced koala... There were only 5 koalas in the park when we went, all high up in the trees around a boardwalk that took 10 minutes to stroll around - but the next morning we drove along the Great Ocean road and saw more than a dozen koalas actively feeding and unperturbed by our presence in their natural surroundings within the state...
