Loved this although we were out on a rainy day. Literally hundreds of seals to watch swimming, nurturing and sleeping. Worth the little jaunt down. Bring your tele lens for your camera. You can't get too close to the seals on the boardwalk, so if you want close-ups, put on your long lens. More

The guided tour was worth every penny. Naomi was guiding us on a “private” tour; as no one else was there for our mid day tour. She was full of knowledge and walk through the reserve as if we were in the seals bedroom... A must on your visit to Kangaroo Island! More

We went there early and there were not many people there. It's a wonderful experience that we are so close to the seal and watch them play. The instructor is great, she is knowledgable and introduced many interesting facts. Would love to go again. More

We had our transportation and own guide. We were able to stand on the sand with the seal and observe them. One seal was sleeping behind us, we did not realize it! The seal woke up and wanted to go to the sea and went right by us, we gave way and moved over so we did not infringe on... More

I took the guided tour and was able to walk onto the beach on a glorious morning to see the seals at rest and play. Most informative guide and wonderful experience. After the tour I spent time walking on the boardwalk to see more of the seals. More

We loved the Seal Bay Conservation Park Guided Beach tour ... so much we went three times. Each time we were guided by the very knowledgeable staff and enjoyed every minute. More

I went with my daughter in early April, and we opted for the guided walking down on the beach. There was a big wind storm that day, but we were happy that they did not cancel the walk. We saw several seals on the way to the beach. (Ended up with lots of sand in our ears and hair, but... More

I have been here a number of times over the years and never been disappointed. With time the boardwalk area has been better developed to offer a real up close view of the seals without overly disturbing them. At the same time the tours are more limited in terms of wandering on the beach. Rather we sat as a group... More

A family of four with young children arrived in time for the first tour of the day. We had the guide, seals & beach to ourselves and as the seals were very active were able to view these playful creatures up close. Others have mentioned taking the boardwalk in preference to paying the fee to walk on the beach. I... More
