Nice pathways integrated into the nature. Even though we could not see much wildlife. More

Well worth doing if the weather is fine as views of the Three Sisters and Echo Point are terrific. The steepest rail incline in the world and a 15 min walk to the cable car to return up the mountain. Interesting historical sites to view en route. More

We got a split day pass and went on all the cable cars. The highlight of the trip was actually the walk at the bottom through some stunning rainforest. The boardwalk is very well constructed and no doubt created at great expense. We walked quietly and were lucky enough to see 3 lyrebirds up close and a variety of birds... More

I live in Katoomba - after decades, I renewed my valley visits. It was a lot more commercial than I remember hiking it as a Boy Scout in the 50’s but still incredibly impressive. I have travelled the world since then. Visited over 100 different countries and countless attractions –even worked on them for Disney in Orlando and Tokyo. There... More

I so love the worlds steepest train and the gondola rides, yeah its a bit pricey though. If you can just do it once in your lifetime and experience the thrill and beauty of blue mountains i guess the price can be justified lol...but dont go here during long weekend holidays if you dont want to be in a long... This was a thrilling adventure for our family and something our children were looking forward to on our trip. Our expectations were certainly met and then some. The views and scenery were stunning. We also were thrilled with the train ride down into the valley so much so we had the kids ask to do it again and again. We... More

We were taken back at the prices, but enjoyed the experience. We took the super steep train down to the bottom, which was fun. Supposedly the steepest train journey in the world - I believe them!! Then we did the boardwalk though the forest. Interesting information about the mining history and the flora etc. We ascended back up using the... More

You have to go on the steep railway - it's fab. Probably worth getting a ticket for all 3 rides. More

Went to Katoomba the other day taking a visistor from the UK with us. Haven't been there for a few years and was pleasantly surprised at the changes made. Still love going down on the Scenic Railway and came back on a new gondola I've not seen before. The walkway at the bottom of the scenic railway is great and... More

Thank you for your feedback and we are delighted that you liked the changes that have been made to Scenic World since your visit so long ago. Yes, it is good value for money to purchase a Scenic Pass which includes a trip on the Railway and Cableway and also a return trip on the Skyway. You also get to... More
