I was advised today they stopped screening "The Edge" movie on 31/1/12. Sad, as it was a great film, I saw it many times, with every tourist I took to Katoomba. It is still a nice cinema.

There is beautiful artworks hanging from the walls. But they where let down by the gloomy staff and the filthy venue, instead of a red carpet you walk the halls lined with old popcorn. Icky,

Roomy / has elevator from carpark underneath.
Get there alittle early for popular times as paying / service at the desk can be slow when busy

The edge is large and it has many screens. I think it looked a lot better when it was smaller. They currently have a full motion flight simulator witch costs 175 for 1halve an hour thats bit much.

The Edge high screen movie is everything that previous TA writers have said. Unfortunately for some reason, the number of screenings has been reduced to only two a day - 12.10pm and 5.30pm. The 12.10pm screening is fine if the weather is not fine, but many people seem happy to see the later screening and then head back to Sydney...
