The views from this location are exceptional, however be warned that Katoomba council has covered the area in parking meters with $3.80 for the first hour and $4.40 For every hour thereafter. Unless you want to pay $$$ I suggest you park elsewhere and walk to the location. It is also a pain if you want to do a walk... More

I started my day in the Blue Mountains and Echo point with a few of the three sisters. They're quite stunning and an interesting rock formation. I then continued on a hike down the Giant staircase, along the valley floor and back up the second staircase with a stop at scenic world. Scenic world was different, and it was interesting... More

Great views and beautiful walk! There was a section with some pretty steep stairs which made it quite a thrill! More

Following the road from my hotel I stumbled upon Echo point and soon the lookout for the 3 Sisters. Learning about the culture and history of the local indigenous people was a fantastic experience and a healthy weekend. More

The view along the Jamieson Valley from Echo point and looking past the Tree Sisters is simply awe inspiring. The three old girls on their own are worth the look but for anyone with the slightest sense of adventure and inspiration a full day at the Mountains is simply magnificent. My advice would be to hook up with a company... More

As long as you've heard the Dreamtime story about the Three Sisters, you will like the beauty of it. Apart from that, it's just 3 lumps of rock. I've seen it quite a number of times so it's nothing special for me. On a good sunny day, the scenary is very beautiful, but don't bother going if it's rainy or... More

We did this trip on our last day in Sydney. We were going to do an organised trip (expensive), but when we asked at the information centre at Central Quay, they suggested we take the train. It was something like $11 return to Katoomba from Sydney central station - stunning value. We got off the train at Katoomba and walked... More

The three sisters means three mountains is a excellent picnic area near Sydney, Australia. I visited with my family and other 2 families. The views from the top are very beautiful. The steepest train in the world is also very good. The rope way to come back is worth to mention. We bought some Souvenirs while coming back from Rope... More

I was expecting a lot more from everything I had heard. Don't get me wrong the views were absolutely amazing but I think its just the fact that it is way to touristy now. Tip: Get their early in the morning to avoid the main tourist buses. More
