There are two exciting tour options, the Northern Exposure and Southern Lights, and each Ocean Rafting day includes an exhilarating ride to Whitehaven Beach, pristine snorkelling reefs and guided Whitsunday Island National Parks walks. Ocean Rafting is the only tour to have direct access to the stunning and iconic Hill Inlet beach, and special snorkel sites at Hook Island and Border Island ensure a memorable underwater experience.The semi rigid inflatable vessels are super fast allowing guests to experience a fun ride, adventure and education amongst the natural beauty of the Whitsundays. The vessels were originally designed and built as rescue crafts and are driven by 450hp engines. 70% of the vessel is shaded, providing comfort from the tropical sun. Small groups allow guests to experience tropical paradise away from the crowds.Ocean Rafting has been operating since 1997 and is proud to have special permits allowing its vessels to visit protected areas in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. The Skipper and Eco Host will ensure guests have a fun filled adventure and personalised service, from the courtesy bus pick up in the morning to snorkel lessons and a guided National Park walk in the Whitsunday Islands.

Just got back from the southern beaches tour with the ocean rafting crew and couldnt be happier with our day. Only a six hour trip but they fit so much in. “Really fun trip despite bad weather”

I did the one day Southern highlights trip and had a really good time. The staff were fun and helpful. It actually poured rain for a lot of the day but I still really enjoyed the snorkelling. What can i say the tour? was amaizing. We did a southern lights tour. We started tour at 9.45 and have been back at hotel around 17.00. “Absolutely terrible service- would never recommend anyone to go with them!”

The trip itself was pretty good and fun, we visited all the places which were beautiful and had a great time. The only thing that spoiled this was the service. TERRIBLE! One of the passengers felt sick at one stage and didn't want to get in the water to go snorkeling because she felt better bending over in the boat.... More

We have endeavoured to look into what happened on the day you travelled, however unfortunately a year has passed by since you travelled and I cannot seem to find out further details or identify staff who recall the incident. Given the type of open boats and the way they travel, it is very unusual for guests to get sea sick... More
