The river tour was informative and it was great to see the crocs in their natural environment, not like a zoo. Te wetlandstour was also informative, and well worth the time. Lunch was outstanding adn the afternoon tea an excellent added bonus.

Whitsunday Crocodile Safari - is a genuine eco-tour. A fantastic experience for the whole family.
We were collected from our hotel by the safari's mini-bus for the short trip to the bush camp. At the camp we saw crocodile memorabilia and had the day's activities explained.
Then it was into the boat for the tour. There's something about travelling on...

The staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I give them an A++. The river tour/croc viewing portion of the tour was great (even though most of the crocs slip into the water as soon as the boat comes near), but the wetlands portion of the tour dragged on and on. The "wetlands" were dry during our visit due to drought,...

Thanks for your review of our Whitsunday Crocodile Safari. We are very pleased that you enjoyed the tour, in particular the river cruise and commentary and service from our experienced guides. The wetlands tour, even during the dry season, is an integral part of our Safari, as it is the environment surrounding the river which provides the habitat (food source,...

Whilst staying in Airlie Beach we took the crocodile safari. The wetlands tour (whilst not very "wet") was informative, and we all learnt many things. The damper, billy tea and BBQ were great. The highlight of course is the riverboat cruise spotting crocodiles, which as the crocodiles are wild and not enclosed cannot be guaranteed. We were lucky enough to...

The day is broken up by 2 tours, river cruise & wetlands tour. Although extremely informative, younger children have a hard time concentrating. Water cruise goes for 2hrs so for children under 5 it's not much fun after first croc sighting. For parents & avid nature explorers scott & steve were great informative guides. Lunch & damper was wonderful.

This was an excellent safari. We had the tractor tour first and despite a slightly disappointing lack of (visible) wildlife, came back feeling our eyes and minds had been opened to the natural habitat. The croc safari with Scotty was fantastic. Because the guides know their local crocodiles so well, they know just where to look for them and we...
