This was much more fun than I had thought. Originally I had thought what was so great about a bunch of crocs caged up behind fences. I was pleasantly surprised at how large this facility was. The boat tour was fun and the guide was able to really make the crocs jump way up and snap at the food. There... More

For the cost of $33 each (adults) you get to cruise down a crocodile infected river with crazy Australian guides who are fun but also fun of useful facts and information about these scarey creatures. You then have a demo of how they can jump up to catch thier food and they can jump quite high. Also a must see... More

On our trip to Australia one of the things we wanted to do was to visit a croc farm. There are lots of choices but we selected Hartleys as we were in the Cairns area. We were not disappointed. This is a large farm and you could spend the better part of a day seeing the whole place. When we... More

I finally got around to visiting Hartley's this year after many other visits to Port Douglas. It's actually very interesting and aside from the impressive crocodile shows and cruise, there are koalas, kangaroos, snakes and other more obscure natives. Tip: get there by 10.30, see the 11am feeding show, walk around, have lunch (yes, you can have Salt & Pepper... More

From the moment we were purchasing our tickets we felt like the staff loved their jobs. Even the guy making the coffees and certainly the "show" presenters were real characters. We had a great day, were entertained, learned a bit and felt the money was well spend. highly recommended. More

I really looked forward to the prospect of Cros leaping out of the water at our boat but this didn't happen. Perhaps because the boat's engines kept stopping and required constant restarting the cros decided to get the rest. Dinner was average, not alot of options for vegetarians as salad choices were limited. Probably better to go in the day... More

Hartley's Croc farm was fabulous! If you are on holiday near this place you must visit. We saw the crocs being fed in one of the lagoons, then the freshies in another, followed by a snake tutorial, journey on boat for more feeding - exceptional and then looking at the pens used for growing the crocs. The final session, and... More
