This is a beautiful walk allowing you to get close up to early cave sites. The walking is easy and takes you through a sacred area where you are asked not to photograph. More

The Uluru express bus will drop you off at the carpark ( which has toilet facilities) from your hotel or the cultural centre if you are so inclined, otherwise walk the Liru walk to Mala walk from the cultural centre. The walk itself is about 2Km return... I talked to more than one local person who said that tourists are gong to the bathroom on the top of the rock- do... More

This is the only walk that I am aware of that is free and involves the base walk. It was definitely worth attending. More

Our guide, Martha was both very knowledgeable on local indigenous culture, and humorous as well. It was an easy walk with many stops, suited for all levels of fitness. It lasted about two hours and was free of cost. I would definitely recommend. More
