The natural springs are truly refreshing! Temperature is close to a constant 30-32 C. Several different pools of varying depths. Our kids ages 8 and 6 swam on the upper end where it was not as deep. having visited many other swimming holes, gorges etc on this trip, the hot springs were a bit of a disappointment. A good way to meet the locals. If you only have one afternoon in Katherine, you would be much better off doing the cruise on the gorge. More

We were pleasantly surprised. The carpark is dusty and the outlook is not good. But 50m walk away is a lovely little hot spring. There are 4 or 5 pools to swim in plus a small fall. Nice for a lunch stop or just to cool off and relax for an hour. Easy access and really shady. More

Lovely Thermal Springs @ Katherine - easily accessible and a great spot to enjoy the surroundings while dipping in the warm pool with clear water! A must go during the dry season! More
