We did a two gorge and "Nabilil Dreaming Sunset Cruise". Although relatively expensive this experience was worth every cent. Jimmy was tour guide at the early part of the evening and gave an excellent commentary about the gorges. The two gorges we expected turned into three, all of which offered spectacular and different vistas. When we returned to the first... More

Take a trip by boat through Katherine Gorge - it's absolutely magnificent. The guides can be irritating - did we want to know that he'd rather be pelting up and down this exceptionally beautiful and sacred gorge in a speedboat??? But it's a minor grouse and a trip well worth taking. More

We booked a lunch tour and were pleasantly surprised with the quality and quantity of food. The gorge is stunning, breathtaking and amazing. Not to be missed. More

These beautiful rock formations will go on ageing gracefully for centuries to come. Took a cruise from the visitor's centre - quite expensive I thought - until I realised the magnitude of the operation and the value in the trip. Very informative guide and incredible photo opportunities. A bit of walking involved - from one boat to another between the... More

We had been here before but not been able to travel on a couple of the gorges. The local guide was interesting and the whole experience with nature is just not to be missed More

The boat cruise was split into 2 parts between the 2 gorges and you need to be able to walk the short distance between the 2 gorges. Informative Aboriginal commentary about the history and natural features of the gorge. Scenery is just superb-a real photo opportunity. Our guides didn't return to town with us so we didn't really get a... More

I did the 2 gorge boat trip and the 13 gorge helicopter trip. Helicopter gives you a completely different perspective, but unless you are really keen on the idea of being in a helicopter it is probably not as good value as the boat trip. With the boat trip (less than half the cost) you can see the rock art,... More

This must be one of the most beautiful places that I have been. It is well worth the visit to Katherine just to see this. I highly recommend taking the dinner cruise. The food was great and cruising down the gorge after seeing the sun set was a special experience. More
