Awesome markets with classy art, the freshest of veges and warm atmosphere. The only thing that let it down is that it closes at 1pm :(
I love this market, it was the main reason for a return trip to Nelson for me. The variety of stalls, the quality of goods, its just astounding how so much creativity can be brought together every week in one small town.
had a great time at the market in nelson, they have heaps of local foods but also arts and crafts. Would definately recommend it to anyone visiting the city
Ranging from produce to products it has lots to see, taste and try. We too were told 7.30 but really 9.00 will still give you heaps of time to enjoy tasting samples and filling your bags with goodies to take home to share....

Great place to visit with lots of fresh vegetables and baking plus many more home made crafts. We sat down and enjoyed a burrito from one of the food stalls and they were delicious. My partner had beef and I had the pork.
Great morning out with lots of things - foods drinks, clothes and jewellery to seeand to try, great atmosphere too
Loads and loads of stalls with lots of interesting crafts, and food stalls too. Just a tad expensive perhaps?
