The boulders are really cool to see, just make sure you park at the Department of Conservation parking lot and NOT at the cafe further down. it was high tide. we could only see two miserable boulders. was hit by waves and were both drenched knees down.Our shoes were filled with water and fine sand. Bad experience!;(

A pretty place to stop on our drive up the East Coast. The boulders are a short walk from the car park, and it’s interesting to think about how they were formed.
