Beautiful Centre will everything you should need while travelling. They have excellent customer service and plenty of visitor information as well as some great souvenirs and maps and things to keep the little ones entertained! The interpretive display is amazing! The price ($15 for adults) may scare some people but is worth paying! You could spend the entire day in... More

This was an amazing discovery centre. It was interesting with lots of interactive displays to keep you enthused. Also there was lots of information about a whole range of things from aboriginal heritage, the first settlers in the area, the building of the ghahn railway through to modern day information e.g. olympic dam mining. We spent nearly 3 hours here.... More

We visited here and spent a couple of hours wandering through. Cost was $15 per adult and I think $9 or children. I don't think it was worth $30 but some aspects were interesting. Its basically a series of movies as you wander through explaining about how aborigines first lived and then the europeans came etc and a bit about... More

We lunched there. Food was no more no less than to be expected. Have been before but entry to gallery was a little overpriced so we declined to enter. Would still go back again. Worth a visit if you have not been there. More

Wadlata Outback Centre is one of the best interactive museums I have ever seen. To walk in through the mouth of the snake and begin a journey through time from Godwana land the Dreaming stories of the Local Aboriginal people to the settlement and growth of White settlers and their industries. A movie theatre shows a 15 minute movie with... More
