I rode the advanced XC trail today with Dirty Detours. The guide , Jason, was excellent. He found the right balance between stopping to keep me informed of what to look out for on the next section and just getting on and riding. Lots of helpful tips on techniques too.

To truly experience the incredible landscape of the Margaret River region one has to see it from a mountain biking perspective.
Rob the owner has a wealth of local knowledge he's more than happy to share, and not just on cycling the visually pleasing and heart pumping tracks. Side trips to see some cave formations added to the brilliant outing....

First up was a single track mountain biking experience through the beautiful karri forests. Rob immediately made you feel at ease - great teacher, had good bikes and concerned about environment. Fabulous day.

What a wonderful way to experience a side to Margaret River that is not very obvious. Rob is passionate about showing his guests the wonderful forests and trails that abound in the Margaret river area. He has a unique ability to judge riders fitness levels and abilities and level of experience and
to tailor the Trails to suit the group....

I did this tour with my parents on a recent trip to Margaret River. It is a novel way to explore some of the regions wineries and vinyards. Some good choices in the boutique wineries visited including Cape Mentelle to purchase a bottle of Botrytis Viognier which went down very well with dad. As mentioned above, the tours are kept...
