Saracen Estates is a popular venue that exhibits some of the finest architecture, art work and landscaping in Australia’s South West region. The Estate provides a family friendly atmosphere with a kids corner, and a large playground and lawn area for the children. Winemaker Bob Cartwright crafts wines of the highest quality and Saracen Estates have received many awards and accolades in their relatively short history. Enjoy wine tasting with the knowledgeable staff whilst perusing the Wine Education Corner. Order one of our famous Tasting Platters and relax with a glass of wine by our crackling fire, soak up the sun on our stunning decking, or simply enjoy browsing through our quality merchandise and artwork by local artisans. A stroll out to the island to visit the Wine Temple will take you back in time to when wine first began. With the Duckstein Brewery Restaurant right next door - we become the Best of Both Worlds with wine & beer! « less

Went on our own winery tour and a guided one and this was our favorite spot. Exceptionally good wine and spot on food. The staff had exceptional knowledge of the wines and the building / scenery could not be faulted. Worth allowing an afternoon for a bottle and the tasting plate. Also the brewery there that shares the building serves... More

Went to Saracen for a spot of wine tasting. This part of our visit was great, the bar lady was very attentive & enthusiastic, really made the effort with you. Then we decided to have a bit of food with a bottle of wine we had bought. This was very expensive for the quality & quantity of food. The food... More

Thank you for your positive review on your Saracen Estates Cellar Door experience, and also for your feedback for the Duckstein Brewery Restaurant. As you can see from the rave reviews on Duckstein Brewery’s Trip Advisor page, this is not a common occurrence, however could have come about as they are extremely popular during the busy school holiday seasons and... Good wine, friendly staff, great service and good food, I had moules frites which went well with both the wine and the beer! Views across the lake from the terrace were great and the kids had plenty of space to run around and play- with a dedicated play area.

A most unexpected pleasure awaited us when we went to Saracen Estate recently, We were greeted and shown to our table which was on the terrace and overlooked this beautiful man-made lake. The staff came prompltly for our order and were very friendly and helpful. We ordered a pizza plus a mixed plate of entrees along with a glass of... More

Loved the gardens and the statues the inside log fire was lovely and welcoming - after being on a wine trip we wanted a coffee but it had closed so only got tea but apart from that everything was good.

The Saracens Estate is a must see. The contemporary architecture and gardens are absolutely stunning. The Estate having the vineyard, brewery and kids corner, is bound to keep all parties happy :-) I am told by a lovely staff member that the entire estate only lies on around ten acres, this limits the amount of wine that can be produced.... The premises are really impressive. A very nice place to have lunch, enjoy the wine and the beer as they are a Winery and a Brewery. They also have a small market with a lot of regional products such as pasta, oils, along with other products that you will enjoy. Their wine was amazingly nice. I was going to try... More

We visited Saracens with our toddler as part of a family holiday to WA and were very impressed. The entrance to this estate is simply magnificent, unlike any winery estate in SA. The staff were all very lovely and although it looked like it wouldn't cater for children, there was a kids corner & lots of things to do! Great... More
