The Bay of Islands was beautiful. We spent 2 hours exploring, even though we were only passing through. Well worth a visit, the rugged coastline is amazing! No crowds surprisingly, but I think it's only a matter of time. Bird life and wildlife all around.

Just a short drive from Warrnabool, the lookout has a wonderful view of sandstone stacks and a sculpted coastline, in my (and my kids') opinion, far better than the famous Twelve Apostles.

The Bay of Islands is only about a half hour drive from Warrnambool and it is very breath taking, The rock formations are incredible and it a fantastic place for photos

The views of off-shore rock stacks make this drive one of the most amazing in the world. Of the 10-12 specific locations, the Bay of Islands is a tranquil, visually stunning location. We also recommend the sometimes missed "Grotto", some 25 kilometres to the East.
