nothing out of the ordinary. The cheeses are lovely but way overpriced, and if you travel into Warrnambool or Port Fairy you can purchase the same cheeses for a fraction of the price. The museum was ok, but not that great, missed out on tasting as it has just finished and there wasn't enough to look at to warrant staying...

The cheese tasting was fantastic. The lady who gave the tasting was so enthusiastic about what she wanted us to try and we had plenty of varieties of cheese to taste. There were many other products that we could purchase beside cheese such as biscuits, wine, chocolates etc. There was also an interesting museum. Well worth a stop whilst travelling...

A nice way to spend an hour. The museum is interesting. The food was yummy, if a little pricey. The salted caramel ice cream was to die for!

In search of locally produced cheese, we stopped at Allansford Cheese World and Museum. The museum shows many old cheese making machinery and farming equipment. There is a cafe and shop selling amongst other things, Warrnambool cheddar cheese.

Travelling with kids, hoped to find out more about cheesmaking, butter making etc., and also taste Warrnambool Cheese and Butter products, maybe buy some... Shop was full of other brands, with just a small fridge showcasing...

It's a nice place to visit. Good range of local food and wine for sale. Cheese tasting. I'm told the milk shakes are great. Can attest to the coffee being fine. Museum out the back is worth a browse for anyone interested in local history since the arrival of us whitefellas.

Travelling the Great Ocean Rd we were very excited to stop in at Cheese World.
Unfortunately we were very disappointed. We walked straight into the first cheese room expecting there to be a series of rooms however there was only one average size fridge.
Prices seemed exorbitant. A 90g chunk of triple cream Camembert was $5+. We purchased a 400g...

The cheese here is quite good, they conduct tastings every half hour or so and a great variety to taste and choose from!
