We went to the Logan's Beach Whale watching platform at Warrnambool. It being the whale watching season, we were hoping to catch a glimpse of the whales. While all that we got to see were spouts of water in the distance (the sea was tremendously choppy that day), we did enjoy our time at the platform. The sea was majestic,... More

I went to this place early in the morning of Thursday. Beautiful scenery and quiet. Okay, It's not whale season yet but I can imagine this place being very popular. I feel jealous for all the houses around here overlooking the ocean views! More

Good to spend sometime with kids. We spent more than 2 hours over here during our Warrnambool trip. The beach is clean and beautiful. More

Logans was the place the locals suggested to go and check out the whales. We called in on our way into Warnambool and to our delight there was one pretty close to shore. We were lucky enough to run into a local surfer on his way out of the water and he was happy to have a chat about the... More

Went there twice, four days apart. No whales but the opportunity that you might see one is worth the visit. We saw a whale at Lorne and Apollo Bay and there had been sightings at warrambool in the morning. If you see a whole heap of cars parked on the roadside it probably means there is a special event... aka... More

The observation platform last weekend was full to capacity, but there were only four surfers to see. Hanging around waiting for a whale and it's young for hours wasn't for us, so we quit after 20 minutes. I have seen the whales here before, but do take a pair of binoculars. I like the fact too that a local coffee... More
