We had a great time at the zoo....Yes it was a tad over priced, but they do have to pay the staff at the end of each week and the people werent rolling through the turnstyles...Staff we spoke to were always eager to help and we even had our picture taken with a Devil! (The $10 for the Pic goes... More

Fortunately the zoo has an outstanding record with the Tasmanian Devil captive breeding program. The admission was overpriced (considerably more expensive than stated on the website) and makes Taronga Zoo seem like a bargain in comparison. The zoo keepers were friendly and polite. Unfortunately the lady in the reception area was rude and arrogant (once she had received the admission... More

This zoo is a privately owned property. They have 3 different enclosures where you can easily view Tassie Devils. One of the areas had 3 youngster and the other 2 had adults. We saw one wombat, many different birds including a kookabura, kangaroos, wallabyes, snakes. It was an easy area to walk around and view the animals. it seems like... More

This zoo is definitely something that should be on your list to do. The owners are very passionate about their animals and especially the cause to the Tasmania Devil. I fully recommend the Night Safari tour. More

For a privately owned and run zoo, they are doing great things. A range of australian animals from koalas and kangaroos, to birds, snakes, talking cockatoos and a tasmanian devil breeding program, not to mention the penguins and monkeys! Friendly staff give feeding demonstrations and a few facts. Best to get there earlier in the morning as from about 10am... More

While my 5 year old son simply loved the new dinosaur trail I'm afraid my husband and I were less than impressed with the zoo - tired cages and dusty tracks, mainly birds meant that we felt that the $62.50 for the three of us to get in was simply too much. Especially as if you have a dinosaur mad... More

Lucky they have monkeys and Tassie devils, would pretty much be a bird aviary. No family passes, overpriced. More
