Did the 1/2 day wine and food matching tour with Marcia and must say thankyou for a great day out. If you are ever in Launceston and want to see the Tamar give Marcia a call. I own a Tour business in the Hunter Valley and I hope my customers leave my tours as happy with the service as I... More

Our great day out started with a punctual pick-up from our hotel. We found Marcia to be a wealth of knowledge on a variety of topics - not just wine – and her commentary between stops was very informative. We visited six wineries, ranging from boutique to well-known labels. While there’s no pressure to buy, we chose to buy a... More

Marcia was fantastic! Friendly and informative about the local area she matched tastes of food to the wines we were sampling. The afternoon tour went to 4 cellar doors of small but fantastic wineries. The views and wines were spectacular and everyone we met were friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their wines. At the end of the tour, bottles purchased... More

What an enjoyable, informative and scenic wine trail along the Tamar Valley WIne Route we had. Seven of us, with our hostess/driver Marcia, visited six lovely wineries. Highly recommended to all who enjoy good wines, good food, good, lovely scenery and a very pleasant informative hostess. THanks Marcia. Bruce & Heather CHristchurch, Nz More

Our guide was Marcia who introduced my husband & I to 4 wineries along the West Tamar. What a great day! Marcia tells us about each winery before we get there, what wines they produce, how they produce it, historical info about the wine makers and wineries. A passion for wine and the region is evident in the banter between... More

We spent a lovely afternoon traipsing around the Tamar valley with our host Marcia and another two couples, sampling some gorgeous wines. We filled a whole case to freight back to the mainland, with ease! What a wonderful way to see this beautiful part of the world, made all the better by Marcia and her comfortable and informative approach. We... More

We took the tour with Marcia and a group of girlfriends and we had a ball. We visited Velo (my favourite, outstanding!), Holm Oak, Goaty Hill and got picked up and dropped off at our hotel as Aspect Tamar Village. We had some lovely Tassie food fare as well. The highlight was meeting all the wineries "wine dogs" and even... More

I went on the afternoon tour with my dad, and we both had a great time. Marcia was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide, and she took us to four excellent wineries. We paid the $10 extra for the wine and food matching experience, which was definitely worth it. Even for non-oenophiles, I think this tour is well worth it... More

We visited four wineries in the Tamar in a 4.5 hr afternoon tour, our guide was very knowledgable and friendly, asking for our wine preferences before the tour and adjusting accordingly. Tour included a lovely selection of Tasmanian cheeses to snack on. Highlights included a visit to Holm winery with Pinot the pig trained to sit for apples. Not apple... More

We took the half-day tour with a group of 10 on a sunny Sunday afternoon and Marcia really was the hostess with the mostess. She made the tour fun and impressed us with her vast knowledge of the region's wines. We visited 3 smaller boutique wineries and a larger more commercial vineyard and there was ample time at each to... More
