this place is overrated, the main street looks looks like a place that is to be pulled down, it it getting to the point were there are more closed shops than open. plus the goods are priced to suit visitors. don,t like the place

A beautifully paved promenade leads to the pier and there are some great foodspots around this precinct. The pub of course is great but if you just want to relax, spend some time on the seats on the pier watching all of the activity.

Plenty of spots to sit and enjoy the sunshine, lots of different choices of fast food to enjoy while enjoying the view and watching the passers by

We live at Glenelg and this is one of our favourite places. We often walk there for sunday breakfast or sunday afternoon coffee,. all the resturants are great , not crowded and great views across the beach or overlooking all the yatchts in the Mariner.We always take out overseas visitors here.

very pretty , lovely beach, nice to smell the sea. Pretty wee town and worth coming to. The frontage of the beach was a sight to behold! Lovely hotels, older buildings, and great photography to be had.

This is close to the city with a real holiday vibe no matter what time of the year you go. It's a very easy beach to walk along and a dose of fresh sea air always does you good!

Whatever the weather, a stroll to the end of the jetty is an absolute must - blue waters, fish swimming, beautiful views up and down the coast! Just a jetty - what you see is what you get. Not to be missed, it's an essential part of visiting Glenelg!

There's not much else to do at Glenelg in the early evening, but wander along the jetty. It was an OK experience.

A lovely place to watch the sun go down. Watching all of the people is fun. Fancy a spot of fishing or maybe take a stroll after dinner??
