There is a surprising atmosphere of peace as soon as you arrive. I came for a meeting in the conference room but browsed the whole temple and had a suprisingly pleasant vegetarian meal. The temple itself is quite beautiful and oozes spirituality - although somehow though it should have looked older. The staff (monks) and friendly and helpful and there... More

Beautiful sculptures of Buddha , great temple… I am not a religious person , but the ambience of the temple is so soothing and calming ... Plenty of photographic opportunities. The walk alongside the lake is beautiful. There is a eatout within the temple , though options are limited. Second time I took my parents and they too enjoyed the... More

Amazing! Stunning! A great place to bring overseas visitors in Wollongong. A truly world class experience. Try and go for Chinese New Year if you like the spectacular but be warned, it is very crowded and parking can be a problem. More

An unique experience in Australia An imposing and huge complex situated in magnificent gardens which are impeccably maintained. We spent a delightful few hours there and will remember it for a long time. We are aged Aussies and have seen a few temples in Asia but nothing to come close to this place. The staff were delightful, quiet and unassuming... More

Wow, now this place is a one-off, don’t miss out. If you are a local and haven’t visited, you need to. If you are a visitor to Wollongong you should not miss the opportunity to see the temple. You don’t need to be religious to be truly amazed by its unique offering. More

The lovely teahouse serves great vegetarian fare at reasonable prices. Worth coming just for lunch or a snack, but of course try and make time to walk around the grounds and admire the temple and pagoda from the inside and out. More

Beautifully managed gardens and all Buddha statues are good. It is a typical Buddhist temple and you can take lot of photographs over here. The ponds are really great. More
