Not much to say, but the Danish Blue was superb, with the red from Tamburlaine, and the crackers. Had to stop on the way home for a larger block....
It was harder to find good cheese in Hunter Valley than we expected. There is Smelly and also the Hunter Valley Cheese Factory. Neither is super, but both can scratch the itch. Smelly is a gimmicky, touristy shop. It is sad that the cheese is all plastic-wrapped, and it cannot breathe. That is a red flag that they do not... More
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry you felt that we didn’t live up to your expectations. In reply to your comments, we would love to be able to use paper wrappings for the cheeses. Unfortunately we have approximately 10 000 people coming through our doors per week. We just would not able to keep up the cheeses with... More
It is cheaper to buy cheese from your local woolworths. A waste of 10minutes I will never get back. People are rude and stuck up
We are terribly disappointed with you comparing us to Woolworths. If you were comparing us to David Jones or a comparable cheese outlet as our prices are very competitive with these outlets, then we could understand your point. We have a vast range of gourmet, hand-made and exported cheeses that Woolworths do not and will not stock. Comparing us to... More
Amazing sheeps and goats cheese! You must try the truffle infused sheeps cheese it is to die for!!! All the staff were very attentive and helpful.
We love cheese and this shop has a great range of different types of cheeses. They also have a great range of gelato.
A great range of local and imported cheeses and other delicatessen products including local olive oils. Cheese tasting courses available. They also have a 'cheese room' being a glass walled cool room where they keep some of the more exotic products (no more than 4 people in it at one time please). They also have an interesting(good) attitude to hygiene... More
We were craving for cheese and on our way back to the hotel, we stop by this shop and found fresh and lovely cheese that matches the wine we bought! Beautiful!
a gorgeous little cheese store with divine views. Be warned, they dont lie when they say its smelly. Cheese smelly of course :)
This was recommended by our B&B owners plus Trip Advisor. Yep, they have no end of cheeses for sale and a wide range of bits and pieces to go with cheese, serve, cheese or store cheese. However, the prices were so high that we simply walked out - despite wanting to buy some good cheese to take back to Sing... More
We are sorry they didn’t find our store to their liking. We are in a very busy tourist destination and aim to please all clients equally. As per all businesses we are here to make a profit otherwise, we are no longer here to offer an experience, retail or tourist related. As you are probably aware many factors make up... More
