We took visiting friends from Melbourne - the website made it look great! When we got there the first issue was the disgusting stench that hit you before you even walked in the door! We then had an ipad held up for us to tell us about the place before paying. Perhaps my greatest issue with this place, apart from... More

The Australian Shark and Ray center is fun but also a bit expensive. The kids love it but the water is freezing and they'll be out pretty quickly. You can give the sharks food but you have to 'pay' for food when the sharks need it anyway. It would be a good idea to go there once, but not lots... More

I love this place AND before u think otherwise. No I dont work there or have any connection with the place other than a genuine love for it. Is it expensive - Yes... But what isnt. You pay as much if not more to go and see animals in a zoo or aquarium that generally receives millions of dollars in... More

The kids loved getting in the water the rays and sharks, and the younger kids were catered for by being able to get in with smaller varieties in the paddle pools. More

The Australian Ray and Shark Centre is a lot of fun. We decided to pay the extra $15 each to get in the water with the rays and sharks. You have a choice of putting on a wetsuit or waterproof overalls, which allow your clothes to stay dry (we went the overalls, which were good). We were there mid-week and... More

Great options for people of all ages. Good opportunity to get up close and personal with the sharks. There was no way I was getting in the tank with the big ray though...... More

They had a very limited amount of sharks and ray in very small pools but the worst thing is that they charge a full child for 2 year old on and then they dont even have anyone giving any explanation about what they are seeing and what they rays do or sharks........the only thing that is interactive is the fact... My family are extremely well travelled and this is probably the worst 'tourist' attraction we have ever visited! I was actually shocked and angry at how expensive this was for so little. Total rip off! My husband and I couldn't wait to leave this place. We love fish and 'wildlife' experiences but this was just designed to relieve you of... More
