From the 100 year old steam boat 'taxi' through a well organised buffet meal and the very entertaining sheep show the whole evening was a delight and worth every penny we even bought the photos! Don't miss this one

Took a Midday BBQ tour to the station via the T.S.S. Earnslaw steam boat for a birthday lunch. Amazing views & surroundings, hugely entertaining boat trip for the mechanically &/or scenic minded. Great service from the crew at the Walter Peak Restaurant, ordered a surprise birthday cake prior to the trip which was delivered post-BBQ by a trio of staff...

We did the evening cruise, with the buffet dinner and sheep shearing show. It was really nice, staff on the Earnslaw were friendly and so were the staff at Walter Peak. The buffet dinner was lovely, especially as they were catering for a lot of people. Everything looked freshly done and tasted good, the roast lamb was excellent.

After a beautiful Bbq lunch at the amazing homestead we were shown how a sheep is shorn by a very personable young man, how the dog can round up the sheep. We saw highland cattle. A perfectly peaceful day!

Great meal in the Colonel's house. The farm experience at the woolshed was most very funny with a very humorous presenter.

We arrived by the old steamer TSS Earnslaw and where treated to a well stocked BBQ lunch. Staff were polite and accommodating. A visit to the farm animls was included with an introduction to the working sheep dog rounding up sheep. The well versed sheerer hand then sheered a sheep for our enjoyment.
