Pre-ski season calm before the storm with just enough snow to have a fun family snow ball fight. Gorgeous. More

Though we went up when there was no snow it is worth the drive for the view and the drive itself. From the base looks just like a Tour de France climb! If you have a hire car and time to spare its worth the drive More

It would have been better to have a sky tow available to get to the top even though there was minimal snow. It is a gret view point for the wider landscape. The road up is great when there is minimal traffic. More

It was great to have the opportunity to board during a European summer but this does not compare with our style of ski resorts. I'm not an experienced boarder so it was recommended we went here. Hmmmmm my options were limited, it was badly sign posted and we ended up on red/black european run that was classed as a blue!... More

We are not seasoned skiiers, but we enjoyed being part of the classes. There was only one beginners course and it was short, but it helped to know the route by repetition. The view was spectacular from the top! We needed to hire everything, but the hire place didn't supply goggles, so I had to buy a pair from the... More

Great view - but very little else up here during summer. Sure it would be a hive of activity in winter. More

Hi Not sure when you visited but it is worth noting that Coronet Peak has the largest snow making installation in the Southern Hemisphere covering the entire mountain. We run the snow making system most nights during the seson ensuring a fresh dusting on main trails most mornings. We think (as do most of our visitors) that Coronet Peak offers... More

If you have a car the ride to Coronet Peak is spectacular. The road is between Queenstown and Arrowtown. We were there in March so there was little activity because the Peak is used for skiing. But, it was an easy drive and great views. More
