THis must be the best valued attraction in Queenstown. You can see the huge fish, and feed them too, and watch the ducks diving down to feed on the bottom, and of course there are the eels to look at too. More

Was disappointed that there was spotty algae on the windows which was hard to find a clear patch to photograph through. Worth a look though if you haven't seen anything like it before . Kids would love it. What I liked was the crazy ducks diving and fighting the fish for the food. More

This is only worth visiting if you get a deal or voucher, others its a waste. It's very difficult to find as there's hardly any signage, very poor on their part. Once you arrive, there's only one wall with some windows to look out. For $1 you can release some food for the fish, which the ducks mostly eat, I... More

Just someone trying to make a buck out of an opportunity but certainly not worth paying for. More

This little place is hard to find on the harbour of the lake. We only knew it was there and tried to find it because it was in the guide book. Its pretty cheap and you go underneath the lake and can put money in a machine which sends out food for the fish. You get a good view of... More

This shouldn't be aloud to call an aquarium. It's just a room under the water wich let you see some grey fish swimming around in the harbour. There is an eele, but it's not very interesting. You can put coins in a machine who releases pellets for the fish, if you want to waste more money. More

little space under water and see some fish, for people from australia, it is not attractive at all, especially if you have been to cains before. the charges were not cheap. More

We paid $5.00 for a family pass and its not worth paying more than that. Its basically just a room with windows looking underneath the lake. We saw lots of different sized brown and rainbow trout, 1 big eel but the highlight was the diving ducks - they were just hilarious to watch and worth the money for the laugh.... More

I live in Queenstown and went for a look recently. I was embarrassed that they even try anything for this as its terrible. Nothing worth seeing at all. There is one window that isn't very clean and doesn't look out onto anything exciting. OK to have a look if you get it for free with a jetboat ride maybe but... More

The underwater World Aquarium is a one room affair under the wharf in Queesntown. After descending a few flights of stairs (lined with posters informing you about the history of jet boating) you enter one room with six regular sized windows looking into the water next to the wharf. There is also souvenirs and tourist info and a desk with... More
