I love this trail. We've done it 10 times. It's so quiet. The birds sing their beautiful melodies as you hike through a beautiful forest meandering along a roaring river. You encounter some history along the way not to mention some gorgeous views. Have fun.

This is a fairly easy track with an easy incline. It took us 2.5 hours to complete the track with a slight 1/2 hour diversion off track. The fern & pine forest trail takes you on a path that crosses some breath taking views of snow capped mountains, waterfalls and the lake.
