A very relaxing shopping area is the Queenstown Mall and this area is extremely popular on the edge of the Lake. Great Shopping, especially for the overseas travellers.

Was last here 2 years ago and nothing much has changed. While it is nice to have a walking street to shop in the range of shops seem to have shrunk somewhat. Sign of the times ...maybe!
Maccas, sushi, brand shopping, cinema... for a small town mall it has more than you'd imagine! All the locals go here too, and why not, it's right there in the middle of everything.
Expensive food court but at least you get some variety! Did not visit the shops but this is one of those generic suburban malls - colorless, soulless but efficient.
There are lots of great shops and restaurants here. Great souvenir and jewelry stores too. Also a movie theater.
Well layed out and very pretty, has a nice feel to it, can lose yourself for a least a few hours. Take an umbrella with you if it rains as not many covered areas.
We sat in 'Old Man Rock' cafe, roaring fire, great atmosphere, great coffee, when the weather is ok, to sit in the mall is relaxing, plenty of energy with lots of tourists and locals mingling.
Lovely mall, lots of people walking around, buskers playing music trying to gain a dollar or too.Shops are open until quite late.
You'll walk up and down this pedestrian only street many times in Queenstown, lots of great restaurants here, souvenir shopping.
I wouldn't really be interested in a shopping mall but for one thing - the food court. We went in here in search of a good deal on lunch and ate from the Everest - Nepalese cuisine. Now this is a food court so it's not a restaurant as such - you place your order and grab a table in...
