I loved canyoning and have recommended it to lots of other travellers on my way around New Zealand. It's quite physically demanding but just want you need after all that partying in Queenstown. The guides were really experienced and I always felt safe. I didn't dare do some of the jumps down the waterfalls but that didn't matter they just... More

I really enjoyed the canyoning itself and would recommend the activity to anyone. It was a fun experience and I enjoyed it a lot. However, I would recommend finding a different company if possible. We spent three weeks in New Zealand and had guides for all kinds of activities – ziplining, sky diving, glacier walking, several museum tours, multiple cave... More

We did the half-day trip out of queenstown, and while both my partner and I enjoyed the uniqueness of the excursion, we felt that the guides could have done more to keep us safe, and giving directions. Because you are in a river canyon, the water is naturally very loud, and most of the time we and in fact the... More

Dear Kerry, We are sorry to hear about your experience with our company. As a tour operator, we believe in the value of our product, and we try extremely hard to provide an enjoyable experience to all. While we understand canyoning is not for everyone, at the very least, we want all participants to feel safe throughout the tour. We... More

No big obstacles, will attend for all ages. Not so radical when compared to other activities at Queenstown. More

My partner and me did both the Glenorchy and the Queenstown trip in Jan 2012. It was our first canyoning experience and we found it awesome. Jumping and sliding waterfalls and still feeling save... what more do you want? If you have the time I'd go with the Glenorchy one. It takes a little longer but it is set directly... More

I did the Glenorchy canyon with this company and it was unforgettable! You perform a wide range of adrenaline activities from natural slides, cliff jumps, zip line and abseiling to name a few. The guides were incredible too. They make you feel safe and protected the whole time. Not to mention good looking! Definately do this, you will not regret... More

I really enjoyed my trip canyoning with canyoning.co.nz. They had really great guides that made our day a ton of fun. You do stuff you never thought you would have the balls to do (like jump from 10 meter cliffs (if you want to, they dont make you do anything you dont want to do)). It is really safe but... More

Spent 5 days in Queenstown and the afternoon canyoning was by far and above the most fun. If the opportunity presents itself, make sure you go: Zip-lining, rapelling, cliff jumping, natural rock water slides. It was killer. More

It was a great experience to do Canyoning at Queenstown New Zealand! I did the easier canyon-route, Queenstown canyon, but I don't think that it was TOO easy. I expected it to be totally easy thing to go through, but there were some point when I got really scared when I had to jump from couple of the cliffs. You... More

My trip with Canyoning company in Queenstown was a truly great experience. The 12 Mile Delta trip was awesome. Our guides knew every single rock by first name in that river. They knew where to jump, where not to jump, and looked out for our safety the entire time. I got to Abseil/repel, zip-line, slide down waterfalls, jump off many... More
