Spent some time here with some fellow wine lovers. A great opportunity to taste a wide variety of New Zealand wines. Very informed and helpful staff. We had a cheese plate that was perfect and a relatively good value. Cozy unrushed atmosphere.

Coming back to Queenstown after a 2 year break our first stop had to be Wine Tastes.Winery offerings change a lot in two years and this is the best place to get to understand what is going on out there. And so it proved with some new winery offerings available to taste or by the glass that we had not...

Enjoyable experience, system is simple to use, possible to quickly go through the card with expensive wines but it is easy to monitor this. Helpful staff. My wife who doesn't drink wine popped next door for coffee in the food court while I took my time sampling. Having two tasting glasses would have been useful when comparing two wines -...

The staff were helpful and knowledgable, you trade your credit card for a swipe card then pay at the end for the wines you have tasted. The dispensing machines were easy to use and there's a good range of...

Our first sampling of New Zealand wines, very different from the Napa experience. There were many more varieties to sip and we found quite a few so good that we made a small purchase to bring back. The staff were very knowledgeable and didn't short us with their pours. Nice digs, nice prices.
We dropped to Wine Tastes just by chance: we were passing by, saw the place and decided to try. We liked the experience that much, that we came back again the day after - and this makes sense as you can hardly try everything on offer during one visit.
Atmosphere is relaxed, and you choose yourself the wine you want...

Was a great idea to visit Wine Tastes before actually going out to visit wines directly at the wineries. Spent at least two hours sampling the many wonderful wines New Zealand has to offer. Loved the write-ups for each of the wines, as I was unfamiliar with some of the vineyards. Ended up buying 3 bottles to bring with me,...

The best way to sample NZ, especially Central Otago wines in a relaxed and friendly environment, on comfortable lounge chairs beautifully covered in alpine animal skins. Try a taste, half glass or the more important full glass of some of the World's best wines whlist nibbling on...
