Brilliant train chugging along scenic locales. The drive from Queenstown to the starting point is great. Once on the train, there are ample photo opportunities and you feel like being on a royal yesteryears trip! Its great that they have been able to maintain the train over the years! What a beautiful locomotive, great genuine kiwi folk running this charm. Would have loved to of been able to purchase some souvenirs to suit people in their early thirties tho.
