The staff at AJ Hackett Bungy is just awesome! They are so friendly, and the men who prepare you for bungy-jumping are wonderful! I was absolutely terrified, but they were so hilarious and patient with me that eventually they gave me the courage to jump, and I am so glad I did! What a spectacular experience! My First Bungy! My husband and I always said that if we were ever to do a bungy jump that we wanted to go to the birthplace of bungy and do it there. Well the Kawarau Bridge Bungy is it! Beautiful setting for jumping off a bridge. Mountains all around and a clear blue river below you. All you have... More

For a beginner, they really assure you with their professionalism and safety gear. Their crew themselves are trained like a well oiled gear and everybody does what they do best to make your jump less scary. Only thing is that the price is quite a premium and would cost even more for the video and pictures

The Kawarau bridge is a beautiful scene. My wife and I pre booked online and were able to do a tandem jump. The staff at the bridge were fantastic, professional and very encouraging. They keep you occupied and before you know it, your falling. The retrieving party in the raft even threw a blue steel pose to the cameras for... More

The Kawarau bridge jump is amazing and so scenic. The AJ Hackett Bungy crew are extremely professional and friendly. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and confident in your safety and the experience as a whole. I was terrified the whole time and almost backed out when I got to the ledge, but I am... More

Did the Kawarau and very glad for the experience. These guys really know what they're doing and clearly have the bungy thing down to a science! Very smoothly run and very professional. My wife was scared to death and almost backed out, but after a quick pep talk from the staff ended up doing a beautiful dive off the bridge.... More

My bungy I had booked was the Nevis. It was first ever bungy and I was hooked. I was initially scared and I have to say the staff gave me a bit of tough love, telling me it was now or never. After coming off the nevis I knew I had to do the other two. Next I did the... More

What can I say about the TRILOGY? The most amazing experience one can have in one day. The first dive is off a bridge approximately 40 metres off the water. I'm first off and dunked. Wait for the 20 or so others and the off to the next; The Nevis. 150 metres of free fall lasts about eight seconds and... More

The experience itself was fantastic. The Kawarau bridge looks especially spectacular in Autumn with lots of red and orange trees. Jump was terrifying, plenty of good lookout spots to watch people jump (which is pretty fun by itself). Only downside is you are gouged for every penny. The jump itself is very pricey at $180 NZD, but if you want... More
