Huge variety of plantings which make a visit every season worthwhile. It's not central to the city, but worth the journey (5 mins by bus, 25 mins walk from CBD) More

Garden was nice, but the star for me were the aviaries. A great collection of parrots and other birds. Be warned that is it very hilly so may not be suitable for all people. More
