I love this place! Beautiful scenery everywhere you look. It's extremely well maintained. Lovely playground & pool for the kids.

Wandering through the vast collection of old trees of every colour on a fresh Christchurch morning was a real treat.

Hagley Park North is a very nice park to stroll. It is very similar to Hyde Park in London and the Avon River runs through it. I was luckly enough to stumble upon the Christchurch Jazz Festival and catch a show on a Sunday afternoon.

Hagley Park is massive...you can go there for a walk, to catch up with friends, see the flowers at the botanic gardens, play golf......etc,

A lovely asset to the city whether you want to amble along the numerous paths or go for your daily jog around the perimeter.

Seems like nothing can change the beauty and peace of the park. I love it and like just walking among the huge trees and enjoy the green in the middle of the city!

Beautiful park, has so many amazing features, outdoor guy, outdoor pool, kids playground, river... There is always something on i the park whether its a concert, festival, food fair

There was a flower show on at the time we visited but I would imagine that without it the park would be rather uninteresting. If you are pushed for time take the Botanical gardens instead but if you have kids this park would be great for then to run around in.

Hagley park is a lovely park to visit, the gardens are very pretty and its a great place to spend some time just relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet. The museum is well worth visiting, with lots of really interesting exhibits, especially the Scott exhibition.
