Really powerful amazing waterfall. Tramp up there is nice with good scenery and we were lucky enough to see a bungy jumper en route. Also a natural hot pool meets lake area en route which we bathed in.

Its an amazing view!! From the top and the bottom ! Definitely need to take a ride in the jet boat to view from the bottom. Its much more thrilling!

Free to visit and just a short walk from the car park. We took our pushchair (bumpy track with a few boulders) but its only a short walk so wasn't really needed. Impressive and beautiful setting and only a short drive from Taupo so worth a visit if in the area.

Wow, a free attraction and well worth the visit. Te water here is ice blue and so clear. Te noise is amazing from the water falls and the speed of the water is something that my need to experience and see for yourself. We loved Huka falls, great to see the source of the Waikato River and it's power as it cascades through the rock walls and over the falls, great experience and so glad we visited.

If you do the walk, it is for free and it is absolutely worth it!!! The Falls are small but stunning and even though I hate walking it was totally worth it!! :) MUST DO IN TAUPO!!!

Beautiful but typical river falls. If you have to make a choice, go to the Aratiatia Rapids instead and be there for water release time (10am, 12 noon and 2pm). Quite a spectacle.
